In April 2010 during the Passover period we took 46 participants on a desert expedition. The youth came from Denmark, Kidoom Noar, Jerusalem and with one new. We were told about a children’s home far north in Israel in a town called Akko. This home: Manof really strives to build the youth and equip them to deal with life. We looked very much forward to begin cooperation with them and were not disappointed. The groups were amazing and touched our hearts. They reminded us with their warm smiles why this project needs to continue while challenging us to do more.
